Rocky Point Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Essex, Maryland.

Rocky Point Golf Course first opened for play in 1971. The course was designed by Russell Roberts.

Golfers at Rocky Point enjoy breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay from several holes. Rocky Point, with its many elevation changes, plays longer than its posted yardage. With a fairly open front nine and a back nine that is relatively tight thanks to a number of water hazards and tree-lined fairways.

Par for the course is 72 from the men's tees and 74 from the ladies tees. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,753 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 544 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 2, a 428 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rocky Point Golf Course is # 11, the 150 yard par-3.

Used Tee Time Golf Pass. Greens had been aerated recently, so putting was a wish and a prayer.

Several days of rain and windy weather made the play not up to par. In season, this is a very good course to play.
